The 3x3 cube was invented by Hungarian Ernő Rubic in the 1970s and won great popularity around the world in the 1980s. Although more than 40 years have passed, it is still a classic toy and can be found in toy stores. Frankly speaking, despite a seemingly simple gadget at the first sight, it is actually a very difficult game and very few people can solve it by themselves. But, it is still an interesting game. Why not give it a try, solving it by yourself or with a guide.
Here, besides traditional way of playing cubes, several new games of playing cubes, created by Interespace.com, are provided. These new games may bring you novel and interesting experience. On how to play these games, please refer to the right column on each of these pages, or the FAQ page.

time
There are three cubes on the upper part of the canvas, cube 1, 2 and 3, from left to right, and a larger cube on the lower part. The larger cube is the one that you can operate and it is associated with one of the three smaller ones at a time. By default, it is associated with cube 1. But you can change the association using the number key 1, 2 and 3, or click or touch the corresponding area when you use mouse or touch screen.
FM stands for fewer moves. To play this game, shuffle the cube, then make all faces of cube 1 displaying solid color with moves as few as possible.
Two types of moves are counted, twists and total moves. Twists are counted when one layer of the cube is rotated with respect to other parts of the cube. Total moves are counted when the cube is twisted or rotated as a whole. The final result is judged by the total moves.
When a game starts, all of the cubes are scrambled with the same pattern. During the game the moves of cube 1 are counted. Try to make the total moves of cube 1 as few as possible when you achieve the task. Cube 2 and cube 3 serve as assistant cubes. You may use them in any way.
Rules for playing with time restriction

You also need to make at least 5 moves during each of the 5 minutes, otherwise a 5-moves penalty is applied for each time. The final result is the total moves plus the total penalty moves, which is shown to the right of the label Res.
